Round 1: Import Blu-ray DVD and DVD

Ease of Use:
  • Pavtube Blu-ray Video Converter Ultimate: 10/10
  • Leawo Blu-ray Ripper: 4/10

To import Blu-ray DVDs and DVDs with Leawo, you need to make sure if your disc is BD or DVD, click the right import button, and spesify where the disc is placed, and import. It's a little bit confusing if you are not familiar with it. And it's easy to make mistakes if you select a wrong directory.

While with Pavtube, it's much much easier. Just click the load disc button and choose if you want to import from optical drive, IFO/ISO, or folder, and you can wait for the result. It's really easy and time-saving.

And you can even import multiple DVDs or BDs with Pavtube Blu-ray Video Converter Ultimate if you have multiple optical drives. You can either click the load disc button or use the file menu to import the second disc.

Round 2: Auto Detect Main Movie of the BD or DVD

  • Pavtube Blu-ray Video Converter Ultimate: Yes
  • Leawo Blu-ray Ripper: No

Importing the same Blu-ray disc, Lord of War, into both Leawo Blu-ray Ripper and Pavtube Blu-ray Video Converter Ultimate, you can easily find the result.

In Leawo, all titles are checked, no matter it's the main movie or not. Users must choose the right title with the main movie to convert, and uncheck the useless titles manually. Besides, as shown in picture below, there are two titles detected as main title, Title_6 and Title_7. And actually there should be only one as Main Title.

While in Pavtube Video Converter Ultimate, the Main Title with main movie is automatically detected and checked. And there's only one Main Title. Users don't need any knowledge about which one is the main movie, just leave it as default, and convert. So Pavtube wins again.

Round 3: CPU Usage While Converting

  • Pavtube Blu-ray Video Converter Ultimate: 93% (full use of CPU cores)
  • Leawo Blu-ray Ripper: 31%

If you want to make better use of your computer while converting, Pavtube wins again.

Round 4: Trial Experience

  • Pavtube Blu-ray Video Converter Ultimate: 9/10
  • Leawo Blu-ray Ripper: 3/10
